I love the fall colors. I love the smelling the crispness in the air. I love hunting season with my buddies. But.......where did summer go? I love it more...I blinked and it was gone!!!!!!

After 30 years of having a place to go that feels like home, it's being sold. My Mom has only been gone 8 months. Her place in the woods will soon become someone else's. My brother feels that money is more inportant than keeping her cabin. I'm sick inside about all of this. Just sick. We even scattered her ashes around there. When it's sold so goes her.......

I'm loving this warm weather, but I'm worried about my plants that are popping up

I've been told that rain are tears falling from the Angles up above.....but I also believe that rain is the shower to clense the earth, but also refresh our lives.....

You are never a failure until you blame your mistakes on someone else.

This year my New Year's resolution is to be healthy. I've lost alot of my health in the past 2 years due to surgery's and  I also had 2 pulmonary embolisms this past Sept. It's all slowed me down alot. I almost died and it's a miracle that I am still here. Now I need to get my health back! I have my Mom "Northwoods" in my heart and over my shoulder watching me and guiding me...I can do it!!!!

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all the fine people on Spokane's Grapevine!!!! I hope that 2010 will be especially good for all of us!!!!

I was just wondering if people still make presents for Christmas. I do. I make everything for everyone, but my grandkids. And it goes over so well too. I try to make the gifts special just for them too.

Spokane is a great place to live! I'm Thankful for living in the Great Northwest, for my beautiful all grown up kids and for my grandkids! I really miss my Mom AKA Northwoods, but I know she is with me all the time....Happy Thanksgiving Mom and everyone!

I hear we are getting snow tomorrow...I will believe it when I see it...and if I see it....I'll just use my new snow blower to remove it!! Got one this year cause I couldn't last year...none were to be found...better safe that sorry!!!!

With all the cold weather...will the leaves be able to change colors before falling off the trees????

What words can describe what grandkids are? I for one cannot think of anything that can truely express my feelings towards mine......I Love them like no other

When I see a beautiful sunrise or sunset,

A full moon that is huge amongst the stars,

Lighting and roar the of thunder,

Clouds in all shapes and sizes

 

I am glad for life's treasures that are unique surprises and always  free for us to enjoy!!!!!

This weekend is the bassin Assin up North...Im going to catch the biggest small mouth bass, win the trophy and make my Mom proud!!!!!!
