I don't watch basketball, but I really enjoy the way our community joins together to cheer them on. And unfortunalty, they didn't win last night, but the fans still cheer them on and that,,,,,,my friends is what it's all about in my book!!!! Great year Zags....and I'm sure we'll see you next year!!!
It's my favorite time of year...SPRING...sunshine, warmth, buds opening, flowers waking, popping up from the cold dark soil......life is good....and before we know it..it will be opening day of fishing season..my other favorite season!!!!!

Snow

What is good about the snow? Well it's pretty, it's brightens up the outside at night, and it's putting alot of people who may be out of work back to work..... Can you think of anything else to ad? I love to hear it!!!
For some unknown reason that I can't even try to understand, I have noticed that people see the negative of life instead of the positive first. Not all people of course do this, but a great many do. I try to see the positive. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Out of a bad situation, a lesson can be learned. It may not not always be black and white and you may not see it at first, but it's there. My New Years's wish for the SpokaneGrapevine members is to try to remember the positive things in life first, try to see something positive out a bad sitution, make a negative experience a positive experience. If we all try to do this, can you imagine how much nicer of a world or just the community would be? For one thing, we would hear positive stories while we're out and about, we would see more smiles and less frowns. I've seen alot of caring people helping others out with this snow in alot of ways. And after the people(strangers probably) left each other and went along thier ways, I bet they felt good about what just happened. They went on to tell others what had just happned. And all of this made them all feel good. Happy New Year everyone!!!!! :)

Seasons

We, who live in the Spokane area have the true seasons to live in. Our seasons are what they are...spring, summer, fall and winter. We have the elements of each one to enjoy.
I give cold weather a -10 just like temperture outside right now...it feels like it anyway...and I give hot weather a +10, cause I like to swim and fish!!!!!
You are never a failure until you blame your mistakes on someone else.
What do we have to be Thankfull for? I can think of one thing that is still free and exciting....A sunset. I'm Thankfull for that.
I love to paint. I'm 84 and still paint everyday....it keeps me young. So, if you have a gift or whatever...keep doing it, you'll be blessed with some unique surprises.
