About Me My husband, Lars, and I met each other in 1991 while attending high school in Anchorage, Alaska. We moved to Spokane with our 3 oldest children in 2005. Our youngest son was born here in Spokane in 2006. Our oldest will be graduating from high school this coming June, while our youngest just started preschool this past fall. For the past 6 years I have had the pleasure of being a Stay At Home Mom. Prior to that “job” I worked full time doing accounting. I absolutely love being able to be home with my kids. About Sweet Addictions I have dreamt of owning my own business and with my love of baking, it just seemed natural to start a business of making sweets. Sweet Addictions all started from reading an article. After talking with my husband and doing some research online, I created a few rusty samples to test out on my more than willing family. Even though they didn't look very pretty, my family loved them. I met a friend of mine for lunch and took along some perfected samples. Within 30 minutes she had encouraged me to move forward with my idea. My husband and family have been the greatest motivators and form of encouragement that is possible. Who would have thought all this success would happen in such a short time. Every person that I have crossed paths with since my journey with Sweet Addictions began has been full of tips and words of wisdom and just friendly beyond compare. My life has been blessed in so many ways and I am thankful for every bit of it. Without God, my family, and friends none of this would have been possible.
