She's bright, artistic, gracious, polite, organized, caring, loving, and generous. For the last year she has been battling to gain permanent custody of her young niece and nephew(my grandchildren), Alaric(three years old), and Lacy(two years old). If we look at the choices we make, how many of them are made because we love our family? As a mother of four, I do most of what I do for my children and husband. In fact, my family is the reason I began this business. After being unemployed for almost two years with no real prospects, I decided to find something I could do to support my family. Now, I do it because I love it. I have found out that I not only love interacting with my customers, but I love the physical labor and working... Read More

As we inch closer and closer to Valentine's Day, I am thinking of how much I love to wrap gifts. For me, it's not about the paper, although that sometimes plays a factor; it's about the accents-the ribbon, crystals, rhinestones, and anything else I may be using to embellish my presents. My three daughters join me in gift wrapping for Valentine's Day. After we've spent an afternoon hand making gifts and cards for our loved ones and one another, we then spend an afternoon w...
