How Do You Take Your Coffee?

How Do You Take Your Coffee?

Black as the devil, hot as hell, pure as an angel, sweet as love.”  Talleyrand, French statesman (1754 – 1838)
I have to admit, I've never walked into Starbucks and uttered those words but, it sure got me to thinking. Coffee has become so much a part of our culture that major chains are switching their logos from donuts to coffee, book stores are no longer just places to buy books, they're social meeting places whe... Posted On 03/06/2011 10:41:48 by GrapevineTravelAdventures
Sint Maarten/Saint Martin, two names for one rather small island.  This now peaceful Caribbean island has a long and bloody history. Violence began long before the day Columbus first sighted the island in 1493 on November 11, the holy day of Saint Martin of Tours.  He claimed the island for Spain, naming it Isla de San Martin.  Throughout history, the island changed hands many times between Spain, France, Holland, Britain and... Last Saturday, I decided I wanted to venture out to the Spokane Home & Yard show at the fairgrounds. With all four kids and my husband in tow, we made our way through the main building. The kids only like to go because they know that most of the booths have candy.   I wanted to go for business and personal reasons. I wanted to network and get business cards and brochures from business that I may need to call in the future for customers and to have these names handy in case a c... Read More

How to decypher Visions
Posted On 03/04/2011 10:40:15 by Lily
Sometimes when visions come to me during either a Dream state, while I am sleeping in a sound way. At first I don't notice where the dream ends, and the vision begins, but it creeps in like a myst, and begins to develope itself.   When I finally realize it is a vision about something. I try to go over again, and again in my Mental alerted state the last few minutes several times so that when I awake. I will be able to remember it, and if it is a really good vision. One that is important fo... Read More

Action Speaks louder than words
Posted On 02/27/2011 21:29:07 by Lily
With all the Protests around the world, it is no wonder people are looking form more unification by throwing out the Old King Government that didn't have any kind of True Support system. Though what is the best system to give everyone the edge over what others in the world call the Bill of Rights.   Shouldn't it be the Privelege System where only those who obey the Law are rewarded by God to having the best Job, Home, Wife or Husband, child, House, Car, Career, Position in that Career, etc... Cookie Central Visits Lazarus House
Posted On 02/24/2011 11:13:52 by CookieCentral
I met Dennis McCarthy from Lazarus House at a recent Friends Of Kevin networking event. Were it not for the shred of class I have, there would have been visions of me barreling on top of people to make my way across the crowded room to meet Dennis. You see, I knew two things:  I am passionate about fighting to end childhood hunger in America and have been looking for a way to get more involved locally. Dennis was representing Lazarus House, which, at the time, I understood to be a loc... Read More

The Newbie Wonders...
Posted On 02/23/2011 21:20:45 by DianeBrown
Until about two weeks ago, I had never written a blog before. I have read blogs, but hasn't everyone? I have always thought the blogs were beautifully written. Now that I am supposed to write one, I have no idea what to write.

As I sit here trying to figure out what to write, I wonder about a few things. First, I wonder if anyone will actually read my blog. I am not sure if I would read my blog, if I did not have too. Second, I wonder what makes a blog "readable." What do you want to... Read More

On any other day I would have just thought....."well, Mark got another job doing something with coffee"

"What is The Extreme Team" by Mark Peterson

The question comes up all the time....
"What is the Extreme Team?"
The Extreme Team is a group of individuals that work on projects, or dreams that the people cannot do for themselves because of  financial or physical reasons.

The Extreme Team started as a question
