Hello!

My name is Alicia and I'm the facility manager over at Deer Park Storage Solutions. If you aren't familiar with us yet, we are a medium sized storage facility that opened up on E. Crawford in Deer Park in July of 2007. Still being new to the area, we wanted to firmly plant our feet in the community. We wanted to make a difference in Northern Spokane County. I was wondering if you would like to support our cause! We are currently running a food drive to benefit our local GreenHouse Community Center Food Bank.

The Statistics: In August of 2007 the GreenHouse Food Bank served 180 families. In August of 2008, that number skyrocketed to 406! Imagine what this holiday season will be like! They definitely need our help.

"Fill A Unit, Fill A Cupboard" is our slogan. We are running the drive October 20th - November 21st. We have set aside one of our brand new 5x10 storage units to be filled with canned, boxed, and jarred food and monetary donations. We will also be accepting personal hygiene items as well. We have several sponsors / drop-off stations around Deer Park. Yokes, Rosauers, Discount Grocery, The Deer Park Tribune, Attorney Jay Lindh and the Deer Park Key Club, and our local Radio Shack all have our signature green donation barrels. We also have friends at the 7-UP plant that are working on a truck load of bottled juice to donate.

We are also holding a coloring contest. There are contest entry forms attached to each of our barrels for children ages 3-12. A $25 Deer Park Bi-Mart gift card will be awarded to the best artwork in each age category!

If this is something you would like to support, we would love to speak with you! We are also working on media coverage (free publicity for kind donors!) i.e. KHQ Channel 6 News, the Deer Park Tribune, and the Spokesman Review. I have attached a copy of our flyer. Feel free to contact me by phone or email. Please encourage your friends, family members, staff, and customers to look for our postings in the "Community" section of Craigslist.com or the "Event Calender" on SpokaneGrapevine.com. I appreciate your help and thanks for your consideration!
