HULA HUT GRILL - THUMBS WAY UP!!

I'm responding to a previous post here that has been eating me up. Someone has taken the time to knock one of my favorite restaurants in town and now I'm here to defend it.

I have lived in Hawaii off and on since I was 4 - for about 16 years of my life. This is the best "Hawaiian" food around without a doubt. There is no where else you can get decent Teriyaki with real white rice, Saimin noodles or a Spam musubi. The macaroni salad here can't be beat. If you don't like this kind of food then go to Burger King or McDonalds.

I eat a the Hula Hut Grill probably weekly and have got to know the owner somewhat. I told him a while back when I first saw the negative review here and he kind of shrugged it off. He said he's got 100's of great comment cards (as opposed to 1 negative for how long it took to get the food). 1000's of great verbal comments as he makes a point to talk to every customer he can.

I know that he will make this work as I see the effort evertime I'm in there.

Don't be a coward and hide behind a computer to complain about something  without first giving someone a chance to make it right.

That entire review seems suspicious as whomever wrote it took a lot of time to search out and only copy and paste other negative reviews. (It was under a previous owner at the time of those anyway)

Please use common sense when reading peoples comments on a website!

"Don't be a coward and hide behind a computer to complain about something  without first giving someone a chance to make it right."

Do you write for a tabloid? You're only responding to half the sentence. I am only writing here to present another side of the story. I will talk to anyone "face to face" and tell them what I think. I always tell a business what I think when my experience is above or below my expectations as I know the business appreciates it. If you're afraid you can at least fill out a comment card so that a business can fix a problem as opossed to ranting on the web for the world to be betrayed by.

I've no idea of your background, nor do I really care but if you've ever been in a service industry you'd know that it's very unpredictable and "poop happens".

As far as attacking anyone, I have personally attacked you for what you've done just as you have done to the business owners entire livelyhood and everyone of the staff at that place of business.

If you are not referring to "Hawaiian food" then why are you writing to complain about a Hawaiian restaurant?

You should stick with Aloha and work on promoting that instead of trying to bring others down.
