The Spokane Holistic Chamber of Commerce (SHCC) Mind, Body, Spirit Fair will
be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, from 10a.m. until 4:30p.m. The
location is the Unity Church on the South Hill of Spokane, 29th Avenue and
Bernard. The fair is free and open to the public. The (SHCC) has put on a
series of holistic fairs, three a year, for the past three years. The SHCC
is a non-profit organization.
Their vision for these fairs is to facilitate awareness in our community.
They aspire to help people realize the possibility of living a more holistic
and sustainable lifestyle. This means doing things in a way that benefits
individuals and the earth we inhabit.
To that end they bring together health professionals and business people who
can help to expand community awareness. Awareness of lifestyle issues such
as health, nutrition, exercise, relaxation, art, mental attitudes, the
environment, and interdependency and growth of small businesses is the goal.
The event is free to the public and open to everyone. Parking is free and
plentiful. A total of 35 vendors will give guidance to attendees on the
lifestyle issues listed above. Available will be: Readings from Medical
Intuitives, Tarot Readings, Local Artists, Life Coaching, Tai Chih, Massage
Therapy, Quantum Biofeedback, Hypnotherapy, Chiropractic Care, Reiki,
Exercise Classes, Pranic Healers, Wellness Lifestyle Tips, Natural Soaps,
Nutritional Products, Quartz Singing Bowls, Books and CD’s for sale, and
more. Additionally, One World Spokane will sell freshly made coffee and
bakery goods.
There also will be 9 speakers giving 30 minute educational presentations to
the public. The speakers and their subjects are:

1pm. Govinda – “ What’s Happening in the Stars”, for you, humanity, the
world in 2010 & beyond!

The fair is designed to encourage and cultivate an awareness that will help
our community break down cultural and sociological barriers. As the
barriers break down a network of interdependency will develop. This will
allow us to escape the big business paradigm and live on a more personal
level. When we live on that more personal level the result is a physically,
mentally, and economically healthier community that resonates at a higher
vibration. The greater our vibration, the greater positive impact the world
around us will feel, and that is the objective of the Mind, Body, Spirit
Fair.
