Last Saturday, I decided I wanted to venture out to the Spokane Home & Yard show at the fairgrounds. With all four kids and my husband in tow, we made our way through the main building. The kids only like to go because they know that most of the booths have candy.

I wanted to go for business and personal reasons. I wanted to network and get business cards and brochures from business that I may need to call in the future for customers and to have these names handy in case a customer asks. I also wanted to go because there are some things at our own home that we need to call someone else in to do.

All in all, it was a productive adventure. There was networking, information collecting, and candy eating. It was nice to finally meet the people from Spokane Grapevine and Cascading Creations, such nice and friendly people.

Now, if only all this snow would go away so I can start maintaining yards again...
