Back Home
Wow. I can't wait to finish my research paper and be back home. Well, this is a way too long overdue (I am being redundant here I know) write up. This should have been posted before the last semester ended.
Anyway, I recall when I was doing my paper, what urged me to do it really well was my excitement about going back home. My dad and I had a deal that when I got an A for my paper, I will visit home. I am in New York right now. This is where I got educated, but my family is back home, in Vegas.
I know it's just a little miles away but I really miss having my family around. I am lucky I grew up with having a good relationships with my parents and siblings. We've been really close to each other that it really saddened me when I decided to leave and pursue my college degree here.
Anyway, back home I had great friends as well. I also always get the chance to have wonderful and meaningful conversations with the people I love. Back home, I do nothing but eat a lot. Mom love cooking and baking so our stomach is always full. Now I know why dad can't get mom out of his head. LOL
What I really miss most about home is my little sister. She and I are really bonded that we can't afford not to talk over the phone on a daily basis. I missed her most. She's really like a little me. I see a lot of similarities between us. She's not just a sister but a best friend as well.
I just love being home. I wish I could go back as soon as I earn my degree. It won't take long. Just a year and we'll be reunited again. Well, that of course still depends on the opportunities that New York will be handling to me. I just wish I could just bring them all here one day.
Okay, I'm on melancholic and nostalgic mode again.
